Cheer and Tumbling
RMGA Royals All-Star Cheer Team
Our cheerleading team practices year round and competes in local competitions from Oct. to April. Athletes compete as a team with a routine that incorporates dance, tumbling, stunts and cheers. We compete in appropriate levels from beginners through advanced. Participation in Nationals is optional and is held once a year in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"Stick It" Standing Tumbling: This class is dedicated to working on standing tumbling only. From standing back handsprings to jump tumbling combinations. Wednesday 7:30 to 8:30 pm
Recreational Cheer: For the young perfomer who would love to do routines that include dance (pom and cheer) with jumps, stunts and tumbling. They will perform in parades and various local events.
All-Star Cheer Teams: Our teams start as young as kindergarten through highschool. No previous experience necessary, the all star teams compete in local and national competitions and perform in local events!
Cheer clinic in March: Want to experience cheerleading. RMGA is offering 4 sessions for just $15 each on Tuesday and Thursdays from 4:00-5:00
- Session I : March 2 and 4
- SessionII: March 9 and 11.
- Session III: March 16&18 and
- Session IV: March 23&25
Intro to Cheer & Tumbling: Jump, stunt and cheer! Your daughter will learn all the basics of cheerleading including motions, dance, cheers, tumbling and stunting. This is a great lead up class for girls wanting to be a part of our Royals Competitive Cheer Team.
Ages: 4+
$100 or $180/8 wks T 6:30-7:30 and/or Th 6:30-7:30
Basic Tumbling for Cheer: This class focuses on basic tumbling skills for cheer including cartwheels, round-offs, handstands, & back walkovers while increasing strength and flexibility.
Ages: 6+
T 4:00-5:00 $100/8 wks
Intermediate Tumbling: Must have mastered basic tumbling first. This is the class where students learn back handsprings!
Th 5:00-6:00 $100/8 wks
Advanced Tumbling: Advanced level class; athletes must have mastered standing back handspring and round-off back handspring. New skills introduced: aerials, front and back tucks, and combinations passes.
Ages: 8+
Th4:00-5:00, F 6:15-7:15 $100/8 wks
